hi Satrovskis, you can not assign the Profisafe-Address in Step7 classic for Modules that are projected over GSD-file. Therefore you need to use the F-Configuration Tool (FCT). See this: SIMATIC ET 200SP Dependencies during configuration with GSD files for ET 200SP fail-safe modules
FCT can be downloaded here: S7-Fail-safe Configuration Tool (S7-FCT) hope this helps, regards |

Thanks! I tried with S7-FCT tool, but it shows that it could not establish connection to F-safe modules.(see attachment) Any ideas ? In FCT manual its written: Requirement for the engineering system - To assign the F-source address and F-destination address, S7-FCT communicates with the engineering system via the standardized TCI interface with the TCI Communication Server. Couldn't find any helpful info about this TCI Communication Server. Is this already integrated in Step7 Classic. First time I opened FCT tool, pop-up with TCI Communication Server registration request appeared. Another thing that comes in my mind, before using FCT I changed HW and used another ET200 SP ST (from S7 standard library) , so that I can assign PROFISafe addresess and at least start up system and do commissioning. Because of that F-safe modules were no longer brand new, but I dont think it should affect FCT-tool.
