I currently have two CPU 416-3 and i am trying to get comms between these 2 CPU's. I am trying to use FB209 and FB210. However the values are not being communicated and there is a error on the send blocks. can somebody please explain to me as there is no help file for these blocks. Is the ID the slot of the CP441-3 card on the CPU that the data is being sent from or sent to. And is there any other blocks or settings that i need to have in adition to the FB209 and FB210 blocks.

Hello BillyBob, standard blocks have got "SIMATIC" or "SIEMENS" as Author. I don't know blocks with "COMM70" as author. Regards, Kaulquappe |

after looking at the compendiam i realised that the connection in the NetPro was not set to a active connection. Thank you and appriciate your time and advice |
