Idir Posts: 163 Rating: (2)	Hello, I'm trying to connect to my CP 443 but I can't. nothing is displayed in the accessible nodes. what are the steps to follow. PG/PC is set to card name...<auto>. I also assigned my PC and CP different IP addresses within the same subnet. I tried ISO. Same thing. Regards,

What do you think is the possibility that the Simatic Manager in general is not communicating? <Idir> is having trouble with MPI communication too. I would like to confirm when last he has used Simatic Manager successfully. Do you think it is a worthwhile reasoning to pursue? I am unsure of the possible negative interaction between classic and TIA softwares. w

There are some basic tests and investigations that should be done and reported so we can help further. Can ldir ping the CP from his PC? Does the PLC appear as part of Available Nodes when using the Ethernet connection? What does the Hardware Configuration for his project look like, especially the parameters of the CP 443-1 (complete MLFB, firmware, IP address and settings...)? What are the settings for the PG/PC interface, and are there any errors there when connecting with the CP? And so on... Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier

HMI is on the same computer or it is another device? If it is another device take the ethernet cable and try with it the online connection. Please confirm the ping from the PC and CP. Idir Posts: 163 Rating: (2)	Hi, the cable works fine. HMI is another device. I was using PCS7 v8.1 (Simatic manager). My PC IP address is: 192.168.30.5 subne: 255.255.255.0 I also managed to connect with CP 443-1GX11-0XE0 v2.0 ( with same parameters). How can I ping something inexistent ? What I mean, is that Idont have a link. regards,
