siemenk Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	There is a camera works as a server that sends data directly using telnet protocol. How can i read these data from ethernet port directly with WinCC. Actually I will send this data to s7-300 PLC. Can I use something else to send directly to this PLC. I have PC and 5611 profibus card. Thanks

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Dear siemenk, I have to admit I have no clue about a solution with Telnet but I know some cameras which may be used as PROFINET IO Device. With WinCC maybe some application with access to the TCP Port might be used... even with the S7 this might be possible but in such cases you would need to know more about the specific conditions around the system you use. J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Dear siemenk, well, I am not the WinCC specialist, but I think the easiest way would be to use SIMATIC NET OPC Server, there you may use the SEND / RECEIVE Interface to transmit or receive Data on ISO on TCP, ISO Transport, TCP or UDP Connections to the PLC. I know that WinCC has different other Channels for Layer 4 communication, maybe you will find there the Solution you look for. Best regards J_Bell
