raghuk Posts: 65 Rating: (1)	Dear all, This is raghu. My customer having severe problem in the Redundant S7-300 System. Am getting error Event ID 16# 494D. STOP due to IO error No relevance for user (Z2): 0000 (Z3): 0000 Previous operating mode: RUN Requested operating mode: STOP (internal) External error, Incoming event. and one CPU going to Stop mode and showing SF and two IM's are in SF. If i am restarting the system again its coming to the normal state. I have changed the near by CPU and been checked in the same place problem was continued. And i have interchanged the IM modules and changed the Power supply and back connectorsfor that modules but no improvement. I have removed all the connection and connected back. After doing this it was running without any problem for two days and again it is started to create problem. What could be root cause for this problem. What i have to check. Please help me anyone had faced the same problem. Regards, Raghu

I think one of your backplane bus is fault or your card is fault. This is causing the error. Please put these OB' 121/122/85, from that we can trace the IO card that is fault. Inside the OB you can find the "Temp" Folder from that you can decode the info for that card. Have fun...

I need to clarify my doubt before going to Customer. Becoz on last visit i have observed in online Diagnostics, only I/O error and the address it is coming as No relevance for user (Z1): 0000 and No relevance for user (Z2): 0000 (Z3): 0000. Thanks and Regards, Raghu Hi Well yes, you will be able to get that, If the module has diagnostic property, and channel diagnostics then you can even detect the channel has failed. Channel diagnostic is for High feature modules, Please post your BOM, so that i can tell, Or you can check it by going to hardware configuration, Module-> Object property -> second or third tab you will find the diagnostic option there.
