Ewon on 840D sl for teleservice

And know witch setting do in step7 hardware manager , in cnc networks center , and in ewon module ? By advance thank's PhGo

pct34 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi, Is you 840D sl equiped with an ethernet interface? In that case the router will act transparently, you just replace the 840D sl IP address by the Talk2M.com provided VPN IP of the eWON router. BR, Pierre

phgo Advanced Member Joined: 5/22/2009 Last visit: 5/3/2022 Posts: 40 Rating: (0)	Hi My problem is the X127 ethernet is DHCP server and i don't found a setting for the default gateway needed for the Ewon work propely I finaly use the the X130 connector where you can set a fixip address & a gateway address the port 102 must be open set thein the hardware manager the same adresse for the 840D CP add a PG/PC in thenet config with a fix adress in the same range best regards

ComauHelpDesk Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	phgo, Do you have somes news about ewon on 840dsl ? I have already beguining to test it on a 840Dsl. It works on X130 if you use the sc start snc command to access to the network center. then you can deactivate the DHCP and enter the requested IP address, router, and ports open needed. I have a question: Do you have any feeback about remote access through vnc viewer on a remote computer connected to eCatcher ? 1° eWon connected to the X130 of the NCU 840Dsl 2° eWon connected to the X120 of the NCU 840Dsl It seens that the NCU didn't answer correctly to the VPN ewon remote connexion. The NCU didn't see a ping request comming from the X130, maintly because the eWon has a VPN remote IP address different than the X130 IP adress... Can you confirm ? Thanks,

But I had very short time to do. this test confirm , that i can connect my Step 7 to the 840Dsl on X127 (just change the setting in the hardware manager of Step 7). I can connect the PCU50 (remote computer) with vncviewer. The only setting are the correct ip adress and the default gateway adress I order one ,but the commissioning of this project is expect in may or june of 2013. I ll made more test at this time.
