Hello For this weeks support request submission from THE LIST (point 3.2 - Broken HMI build system) they are requesting examples to demonstrate / help to track the issue. Problem description (at least how I and several of our customers encountered it): Using regular HMI build (without rebuild-all), the HMI build result very often contains non-functioning components or the user edits/events are performed on a completely different tags then set up (scary!). Rebuild-all fixes the issue. The problem usually demonstrates by:
=> looks like some mix-up in the HMI tag table during build. Rebuild all fixes this. No project corruption detected. Probably happens more often in project converted from older TIA versions (but can't say for sure). My suspicions when this might happen more often:
Questions for the community: Have you encountered this problem? Could you provide data (a sample project) to demonstrate it? Do you have any of your own theories about how/when this might happen? Thanks |
