For this weeks support request submission from THE LIST (point 3.2 - Broken HMI build system) they are requesting examples to demonstrate / help to track the issue.

Problem description (at least how I and several of our customers encountered it):

Using regular HMI build (without rebuild-all), the HMI build result very often contains non-functioning components or the user edits/events are performed on a completely different tags then set up (scary!). Rebuild-all fixes the issue.

Has happened on at least half of the projects I've worked on with comfort panels.  Couldn't identify a pattern, although when it's happening, check your general messages in the bottom info banner, sometimes I see a message along the lines of the project being corrupt.  Next time I get a faulty project, I'll post it here or PM you.  

This even happens sometimes after a complete rebuild.

I have seen it in Advanced more often than Professional.

In Advanced we tell our programmers to always do a complete rebuild and check in simulator before sending the project to the customer after updates, to avoid this problem as much as possible.

In V16 this happens quite frequently after picture block version changes. Those blocks sometimes show up in RT with a type of valve symbol instead of the selected graphics. Really weird.

And yes, I've seen this issue switching variables between Buttons / Blocks. For example: You want to turn on Motor 1 but Motor 2 starts moving in reality. Really dangerous, even life threatening behaviour! And this is NOT an error on user side, it's definitely the build system!
