Excel read and write S7-1200

I need to do a program that read and write to a CPU S7-1200, alert by Excel using VB, I tried to use this Link but the object creation error.

You see that SIMATIC NET DVD V12 is required for communication. I suppose you do not have it installed and therefore get object creation error.
