Execution time of an SCL source code

2 ways:

1) After compilation SCL source becomes STL-block. You can open it via LAD/STL/FBD editor, see what's inside and calculate time consumption.

2) Leave only OB1 in your programm. In OB1 call that block 100 times. Download to PLC and see what cycle time you have.

1) You have source for FC1 for example. Compile it. Open LAD/STL editor. File->open, choose your block. Now you can see what STL commands are inside the block. For each command there is specific time consumption - that depends on what CPU do you have. Sum all commands - get time.

2)You have source for FC1 for example. Compile it. Write inside OB1

FC1();

END_FOR;

Compile OB1. Download both blocks to PLC. Then Step7 Manager->PLC->Diagnostic/Settings->Cycle time. Yoг will see some time average -X. Now if you take X/100 you will get time for FC1 execution (well, almost).

Yes, that's it. Now you should take datasheet on your CPU and calculate time for each command

Well, syntax for SCL is above. If you write it STL it would look like
