Hello readers, at our site we have an PLC network which is connected by DP/DP (6ES7-158-0AD01-0XA0) to another network. The length of the outputadresses of the DP/DP coupler have to beextended by 16 bytes. So I've put another object of of the library in the DP/DP coupler with 16 bytes. After save and compile I've downloaded the newhardware configuration to the PLC. Now the CPU says that the DP/DP coupleris not there. I think this has something to do with the GSD file which is missing. Do the GSD file have to be downloaded to the PLC again after compiling and downloading the changed hardware of the DP/DP coupler? Please see attachments. Best regards. AttachmentModuleInformation_DPDP_coupler.pdf (145 Downloads) |

Hello Rosegarden, It should not. You have increased both areas? 16 Bytes and 16 Bytein the other side? Must be perfectly the same. On the DP/DP coupler the LEDs as they are? |
