I tried standard way (from file\export), butwhen I use that filewith graphic object there is nothing to see 2.Is it possible to run both server and (one) client on the same work station?

I do this a lot and know it works. What does the EMF file look like when opened from Windows Explorer ? However you can do this using virtual hosting software, such as VMWare (http://www.vmware.com). VMWare allows you to run multiple operating systems on one computer. I always test client / server systems on my one laptop by simply starting two different virtual machines [;)]

It works fine, but you really need a lot of RAM memory: 1GB is acceptable, it's better to have 2GB. I'm using a VMware Server in a laptop with 512 MB. Sometimes, I want to break the laptop in two. But if you have 2GB, it works fine. Then, you can install one WinCC Server in one Virtual Machine and one WinCC Client in another Virtual Machine. It works really well. Regards, Zerbati

What control are you using ? Any chance you can draw it on a PDL and post it here ? We can then try it and see if we get the same results.

I exported the Symbol Library picture to pump.emf and then imported it back into NewPDL0.PDL and it worked fine. I have attached both the emf and pdl file here. Can you try to import pump.emf and let us know if it works. One thing to note is that when you export and import a control, it always brings in the handles that were around the object. You need to manually delete these.
