Hello facoui; The CPU 315-2PN/DP allows up to 2048 bytes input and 2048 bytesoutput in the process image, so you have more thanenough for your configuration. Look at the info on the CPU in the electronic catalog: https://eb.automation.siemens.com/goos/catalog/Pages/ProductData.aspx?nodeID=10026479&catalogRegion=WW&language=en&activetab=product®ionUrl=%2f#activetab=product The problem you face is the limitation on the backplane bus and the IM 360/361 extension modules which do not allow more than 32 modules, However, using Profibus-DP or Profinet IO, you can setup more than 120 nodes with each 8 or 12 modules each. Look at the information on the ET 200M Profibus/Profinet slave interfaces, that will allow you to use S7-300 I/O modules to collect data from either Profibus or Profinet: https://eb.automation.siemens.com/goos/catalog/Pages/ProductData.aspx?catalogRegion=WW&language=en&nodeid=5000114&tree=CatalogTree®ionUrl=%2f#activetab=product These I/O modules will be mnapped to the input and output process images, exactly as if they were on the backplane bus. That way you can easily extend your hardware configuration. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
