Hi all,

could anybody make it worked in TIA portal application? I have some troubles with declaring of variables. The function block can be set as STL, but when I try to compile the block, it reports some errors (see attachment - red underlined parameters). I have tried to declare variables in a block variable table, but it seems that these two parts of the code do the mischief.

DateAndTime: STRUCT // Date and time structure to allow DT type to be disassembled

#RetVal := RD_SYS_T(CDT := #DateAndTIme);

In TIA Portal use "External Source Files-->Add new external File".When the source file added , right click on it and click on "Generate Blocks".

sorry but I didn't find the item "External Source Files" in project tree. I tried to find how to do it in tia help, but without a success..
