F/H CPU with DP and PA interface

I am new to PCS7 configurations and am unsure of whether fail-safe communication can exist between the F-CPU and devices on the PA network. Can someone direct me to more guidance?

For compliance with safety standards on PROFIBUS,any device or coupler that are used in the network should support the PROFISAFE Profile.It will be helpful to read more in "SIMATIC Bus links DP/PA coupler, active field distributors, DP/PA Link and Y Link" , if they support the option.Still, you can check configuration tips for a Fail-safe slave plus all programming blocks HERE.
