f-monitoring time exceeded

Hey,

I set F-Monitoring time on my main PLC to the max, but i still got the following message on a lot of my failsafe IO:

Error: Safety program: Error in PROFIsafe communication with F-IO  
F-monitoring time exceeded  

Error: Safety program: F-IO passivated 
Error in PROFIsafe communication 

The PLC runs in simulation. How can I fix this issue?

please check if the update time of the process image of the F-periphery is smaller than the f-monitoring time of your module.

with wich PLC do you work?

we have the same Problem with the PLC 1515F.

We give it to the Siemens Support but they don't have a solution for this at the moment. A team of Siemens employess make current some tests and will give us a answer in the next week.

It seems that there is a internal bug in the PLC/F-DI/F-DQ. But the Problem is only in the Et200MP we have a similar Maschine wiht the ET200SP (1510F) this work without any Problems.

There are any news from your side in the meantime?

I'm running an 1516F-3 and I'm having the same problem.

Strange, that my PLC doesn't always go to stop on Passivation.

There is a Bug in the F-DI und F-DO MP Cards. There is a timer which go every 49 days in Overflow. This was confirmed by SIEMENS.

Siemens working on a update for this Cards. But until then a lot of time can pass.

Please conntact the Siemens Support! They now this Problem.
