F30805 EPROM CHECKSUM ERROR

Arif Ahmad Experienced Member Joined: 2/16/2009 Last visit: 7/13/2024 Posts: 40 Rating: (0)	Dear Member, I am facing a problem in sinamics s120 motor module which give the Fault No. F30805 POWER UNIT. Basically i done this project before 6 month, and at the time of commissioning i update the firmware version v2.4 to v2.6. At the time of commossioning no any fault occour . But After 6 months it give the Fault. In my topology i use three no Motor Module, in which first module is in normal condition. But Motor Module no. 2 and 3 goes into Fualt Mode which fault No. is F30805. Please help me as soon as possible, Thanks, Best Regards, Arif Ahmad

Wich program have in your eprom, i think u have a problem with version in your program, u use the old versión or u do a new program for the inverter???

But i have already did to reload the drive backup with the help of S7-Technology. But problem is still there. The fault description is here. F30805 Power unit: EPROM checksum error Drive object: All objects Reaction: OFF2 Acknowledge: IMMEDIATELY Cause: Internal parameter data is corrupted. Fault value (r0949, interpret hexadecimal): 01: EEPROM access error. 02: Too many blocks in the EEPROM. Remedy: Replace the module.

In my point of view If there is any version problem. Then its indicate at time of commoissioning but porject sucessfully run at least 6 month, After 6 month this promblem active on two drives. The Error No. F30805 reommended remedy in the manaul is replace the module. So we give the Purchase Order for new module. But please tell me why this alarm occured (for example any bug during commoissioning or etc.), Because we commission Single Motor Module module at least 12 No on same application.
