F60097 - Faulty Power Supply Problem - 6RA80 DC Converter

Toombs Posts: 91 Rating: (4)	Hello, I'm having problems with a 6RA80 -- every 12 hours or so I get a F60097 fault -- only happens when the drive isn't running. This drive has the Power Interface Board with the 24V power supply option. I checked for loose connections and happened to find one (the 24V connection from the power supply/batteries was loose). I fixed that and assumed I had solved the issue. But then it happened again. I next assumed bad power interface board, so I changed it out. Then the problem didn't happen for 2 or 3 days but then again surfaced. Does anyone know if the problem could be the CUD board? I guess the hardware doing the sensing for this +/- 10V reference is on the CUD board, and not the power interface board? I don't think the source of the power is the problem. For example, we have the battery supply that is going to this drive to power the 24V going to 3 other drives. This particular drive is the only drive that gets this F60097 -- the rest don't have a problem. Thanks for your assistance...

Toombs Posts: 91 Rating: (4)	Hello, I'm still having trouble with this problem. I can't understand how it could be a CUD problem if the manual says to check the power supply. As I wrote before, I completely replaced the power supply but it still is having this issue. Does anyone know if this flow chart (see attached) means that F60097 is triggered by either a P5 or P15 overload situation? Why would it not fault on F60093 or F60094 as well if that is the case? I measured the reference voltages at X177.31 and X177.32 for the +/- 10V and it looks about as good or better than any of the other drives that don't have this problem. This makes me wonder if it's just a processing problem in the CUD? Thanks... Attachment F60097.jpg (732 Downloads)

jim_map Posts: 23 Rating: (0)	I am having this problem too. My setpoint is fed into CUD via -X177 27/28 which is nothing to do with 31/P10 and 32/N10.
