This weekend I was playing with the device and I have some doubts that hope you can solve: - How can I factory reset the device after playing with it and messing up with the config? I tried to write a SD with a fresh image but it always boots from eMMC. Is there any way to force boot from SD? - I see last image version for download is V1.0.2 but the device came with 4.19.94-rt39. Can I download this version in order to factory reset with it? Thank you!

Fe_lipe Silver Member Joined: 12/12/2016 Last visit: 4/8/2024 Posts: 640 Rating: (60)	Hello, If you can still boot into the IndustrialOS, you could copy the attached config file into /etc and then use the command fw_setenv boot_targets usb0 usb1 usb2 mmc0 mmc1 In order to change the boot priority. Elsewise you would most likely need a FTDI Cable. Indeed the Example Image available on SIOS is currently still the (old) V1.0.2, I would recommend to build a fresh one with the current master branch. BR Attachment fw_env.zip (407 Downloads)

bergmanu Platinum Member Joined: 4/28/2015 Last visit: 11/12/2024 Posts: 3345 Rating: (379)	Hi, either you use software - e.g. WinSCP - to establish a connection from your PC to the IOT2050 and copy the file via drag&drop or you use a USB flash drive to transfer the file to your IOT2050. Note: USB flash drives need to be mounted manually in Linux to be usable. Best regards!

What is your goal now? Clean the eMMc? This can be done with the command mkfs.ext /dev/mmcblk1 Best regards!
