fail on S5-115 u

Didier1024 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello I have some issues with S5-115 U processor, and I would like to konw if somebody can tell me what are the reason to get these bit into the Istack from the processor STOZUS, STOANZ , according to the manual one of the are the external request and internal, but I can not find in the program who is requesting to stop. But I have the doubt if any external signal can request the stop processor. To restablish the procesor we do the overall reset, and is works again for a couple hour and happen again, so as you see this are to bad because we don't know what are the root cause. Thank in advance

Basically these bits just tell you the PLC is in Stop state but don't give any info about the cause of interrupt. To find out what's the cause of interrupt press F7 continue and you can see more info. Maybe you can upload printscreen of this page if you need help on interpreting the information. PLC went to stop mode because an STS instruction was programmed in FB 65. STS stops the excecution of program processing immediate after the operation. It's not possible to tell from I-stack why this instruction was excecuted. You will have to check calling instructions of FB 65 and/or conditions why the instruction STS was excecuted. If you place cursor on Cause of interrupt: STS you can jump directly to block and address where the PLC went into stop mode by pressing F2 Edit. I think there is a problem with periphery, and some kind of diagnostic routine detects this in start-up OB21. Kind regard, BV
