Dear All,

I just bought wincc professional V16 license and testing my first exercise program by configuring s7 1200 ,Cpu 1214C PLC

And PC station with Runtime Professional. 

The PLC Side perfectly works But while I am trying to start runtime simulation it says " faild to start runtime simulation" After successfully compiled the project with out errors. 

I have attached my operating system information for your reference. 

Please advise me what to do

I had read on forum about to delete IM folder and rebuild,

Before I post my topic But it doesn't give me a solution. 

This project is a test project just having 2 buttons start and stop.

I also tried it by changing runtime advance ,  simulation is perfectly working. 

The problem is when I change to runtime professional.

To my knowledge, if you want to simulate a WinCC Professional project you should have installed WinCC RT Professional package.

I see that you have TIA V16 installed (without any Update) in a Windows 10 Pro 21H2 environment.

Please, to ensure that it works in a released environment, try to install the latest TIA V16 Update:

Updates for STEP 7 V16, S7-PLCSIM V16 and WinCC V16

Note: Support for Windows 10 Pro 21H2 starts from Software -> Update 4.
