Failing to change background based on int-tag

Hi, i have this 1214c cpu and a TP1200 display connected to it,
i use an int-tag 0-2 to tell the hmi which color its background should use of an i/O-field.
I do also put the value of the tag in a label to see its value, but the io-field doesnt change
the background color, no matter what that tag value says.

When i read the value of the screen in the display, it says 2 at this right moment, but background is still white.

try this.

Hello,

which objects do you use in the IO-field? if the pictures are as big as the field you won't see a change in backround colour.

if TIA v11 try right clik software (rebuild all)

in the HMI use a Data type "Byte"

Tomorrow when i get to work ill try use the tag as byte, what would be the significant change to the hmi if i used byte instead of value of the int?
