Fault 7412

Dear.all

I have synchrons motor 12kw with resolver type Re-21-B05 working by sinsmics s120 and we face fault 7412 however we check the motor it was ok and monitor the feed back from resolver (using starter) it was ok , when Change the speed controller from speed with encoder to sensorless  the motor running without fault

Any support to solve the problem.

Wow! This is third party motor. Looking at motor operating manual page19 I see that there was given exact data on resolver installed.

If is youre data on resolver programmed correctly? Try compare them.

This motor is not new commissioning , it was working before since two years ago , this first time i face fault 7412 and we take the following action:-

1-check the motor winding and canle it was ok

2- check the resolver reading for drive using starter software it was working

3-change resolver with new one

But still we facing the same fault during starting , any one has practical solution?

I have found real article called "Remedy: How to cure that" beneath F07412, in the List Manual.

There are a lot to do there. Have you done at least one of them?

Of course i read the remedy from fault list and take the following action

1 - check resolver feedback is reading

2 - change the resolver with new , still fault happen

3- change power cable and resolver cable , still fault happen

4 - change motor with spare , still fault happen.
