Hi All, I have a machine with a D435 Simotion system and it sometimes gives a fault 7841 and stops all movements. System Details : D435 Version G, 6AU1 435-0AA00-0AA1 Smart Line module 6SL3130-6TE23-6AA3, I/p – AC3 380-480V, 50-60Hz, O/p – DC 600V 60A 36kW 6SL31 series motor modules (4nos) The configuration is done in the Simotion Scout Machine operation process - A hot component gripped by the manipulator is placed in-between two hydro-electric rollers to shape it. Both roller's rotation and manipulator reverse movement start simultaneously and the component gets shaped. Some of the components don't need the rolling operation. Fault occurrence - Fault is observed whenever rollers operation is involved in the process. This is also happening sometimes. Referring to the solutions given in the Siemens forum we come to the conclusion that the Infeed operation is withdrawal due to the signal OFF1 or OFF2 or OFF3 turns off during the machine cycle. All theses three OFF signals are turned ON using the telegram 1 which can be seen in the control logic of the drive (R2090 0 : B0:1F1 PROFIBUS PZD1 receive bit serial). You can see all the images in the attached PDF file. Can I temporarily use the digital input to enable OFF1,2 & 3? Is there any sequence to follow to make these OFF signals ON and OFF? I got information from one of the users that OFF2 should be always ON, OFF 3 should be an Emergency Stop signal and OFF 1 should be ON after some delay (after OFF 2 & 3). Is it true? I have also doubt that whenever the rollers operation comes in the picture, it is making Profibus communication unstable due to noise. And, the telegram signals drops down. I am in process to find out the telegram exchange in-between the Simotion devices. Meanwhile can somebody share their views to resolve this problem? Thanks in advance.
