Hello,This is with reference to the thread posted by Mr. Chaudhari on A&D Forum titled “What are the reasons for Error 30008: Link to Technology Object necessary for this operation does not exit (command type 1501)” Thread Starter: spc01Started: 5/20/2008 9:00 AMI have studied the program and found the following; We have configured ten (10x) Cams outputs for a Virtual Master. All of them are software cams.In the program we have enabled the cam output at the start of the task and by the end after processing the cam states, we have disabled the cam outputs. We have looped the program from start to end, and assigned to a motion task. During execution of the program, we encounter Fault F30008 randomly for any 2 or 3 of the above cams, with command type 1501, for which the help menu states that the alarm/fault was triggered by the command "_Enable cam output"Earlier the CPU was stopping on occurrence of this fault. Then we tried putting the motion task program reaction to Execution fault task after which the CPU was still operational in RUN mode. However the program halts at a location where we are evaluating "VM_Cam1.state = ON" The program and the machine halts at this location, and the machine cycle is wasted. We took a trace of the control status and state variable for VM_Cam1, VM_Cam2 & VM_Cam3 (randomly). We found that even after enabling the cam output, the control state still remains "inactive". And the outputs fail to switch to ON state. We even assigned dummy variables to check control state of cam (VM_Cam1.control), and confirmed the above. What can be the possible reasons for the VM_Cam1.control still being "inactive", despite of giving the enable command? The disable cam output command is at the end of the task. Is it possible that the disable command is overriding the enable command in cyclic execution?Pls help us to solve this problem.I am attaching the Simotion traces captured by me. You can also refer the image for quick review.
