JMJ Posts: 487 Rating: (45)	It is not clear what application on PC you want to communicate with. WinCC? SimaticNet OPC?. Please be specific as there are some changes in communication configuration. Also what software do you have on your PC? Step7 or NCM PC? There is no much difference between configuration steps in there two softwares. not_my_fault Bronze Member Joined: 6/13/2006 Last visit: 9/17/2024 Posts: 123 Rating: (28)	Hi nanji, to have fault tolerant connection from one pc to a s7-400H system you always have to use the cp1613 (or cp1613 A2). The CP1612 is not supported by redconnect. You can chose if you want to use one oder two CP1613 with one redconnect-license. WinCC or an the SIMATIC NET OPC-Server can connect via redconnect/CP1613 to the S7-400H via fault-tolerant connection. greetings, not_my_fault
