faulty Control Card

SM PK Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hello All, My single axis simens control card is faulty. I have two axes control card. Can I use it for my single axis without any parameter changes.? If no which parameters should I change?

SM PK Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	hello, Original faulty single axis module is 6SN1118-0DG23-0AA0. This module when connected on device bus hangs all the system boot. I have removed this from the bus with following parameters, 13000 13010 13030 14512 30130 30240 Now my machine works in JOG but since it has Safety Integrated DMP module, it gives event D trigred for disabled axis and no MDI working. I have another two axes module of similar digital type and want to use one of its axis portion. So question is 1 . How to configure it to behave as asingle axis module with single axis power module part no 6SN1123-1AA0-0AA1 2. How will I recognize that on which one of two section should I install encoders. Your erliest rply will be highly appriciated.

Ekalavya Posts: 2964 Rating: (473)	Hello, Haveyouput the dual axis control card and checked first ??? do you get any errors.... just plug your Encoder cable in X411 and in the power section you will be having only one port UVW X412 this works if you have plugged your power cable...in your case you have only one,,,, this should work...partically.... I will give you the answer. or just insert your card to try.even it may not work but that will be no harm for you m/c.

My replacement cards are, 6SN1118-0DK23-0AA0 and 6SN1118-0DK23-0AA1 these two cards are removed from another machine because of one of axis being faulty. That mean only one axis of theses dual axes card can be utilised, if possible. So I need to know parameters for setting only working axis. When I isert these cards control gives alarm that axis card is not configured. thanks for your help in advance

When I isert these cards control gives alarm that axis card is not configured. thanks for your help in advance ================= Hi, Dear, 6SN1118-0DK23-0AA1 simodrive 611 Dcard high performance for 2-axes , your old card is normal one ,you can not use those cards. the solution is :best find same card. or try to find 6SN1118-0DM23-0AA0 or ---0AA1, wahtever. use them as sigle axis card , no need change any parameters. if onther things ok the m/c should run.
