I have a problem with a PN-PN coupler connected to 2x CPU319F-3PN.

I can have normal communication between the 2 PLC's, by putting some input/output cards into the hardware. That's no problem.

but I also want to send some safety signals from the first PLC to the second. For that I used FB223 and FB224 of the safety catalog.

But at the F_RCVDP block, the output of SUBS_ON is always true. so it means that the inputs of that block are always distributed to the output and so I never receive my inputs of the F_SENDDP block.

Does anyone know an answer to this question?

I tried already the manual S7_distributed_safety_configuring_and_programmin_en_US_en-US.pdf, but that didn't solve my problem.

I coupled the 2 hardwares together in the tab "Coupling" of one of them. So they have automatically the right configuration. But I created:

IN 2 bytes: for the normal communication, adress=0..1 (which works)

OUT 2 bytes: for the normal communication, adress=0..1 (which works)

IN/OUT 12 bytes / 6 bytes: for the safety communication, adress=100...111,100...105

So automatically, the other PLC has the configuration of OUT 2 bytes, IN 2 bytes, OUT/IN 6 bytes / 12 bytes with the same adresses.

And then I attached to the FB223 & FB224 at the input LADDR the adress 100, because that's what I would do.

Correct? Or not?
