Can You please be somewhat more precise? I am afraid, nobody can help you really. Did you ever have a look in one of the manuals? |

Hello mohit; Here is one more manual to add to your "Siemens encyclopedia", the FBD programming manualfor S7-300 and S7-400: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/18652644 Having had the chance to work with various other controllers from different manufactures, I can assure you that an abundance of free and downloadable documentation is hardly something you should be complaining about. Please refrain from this kind of comment in the future, at least on this Siemens forum. One suggestion, if you are willing to listen. Try opening a programming block you have written in LAD, and that you understand well. Change the view properties of Step 7 to FBD, and you will see your networks "converted"; you can then see for yourself how the AND and OR boxes are used in FBD in lieu of the LAD NO and NC symbols for bit instructions. And the instruction tree at the right will present you with all FBD blocks you can use. Hope this helps, Daniel Charier |
