FC is not giving any value

rahul1234 Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Hello The attached file is the zip of source file of FCs and the related FC and DB. QI am getting the output from the FC 26 (as the same is used in all n/w) but after n/w 6 the value is being processed and not showing can anyone tell what would be the possible reason and what is the remedy? Have a look at the link below and see if it fixes the issue: Why does the network status only appear partially during monitoring in the LAD and FBD editor? I hope this helps

What would be my precautions? Hi Rahul, I would wish you to clarify 1. If you by pass the first six networks, does it be seen in next consecative networks? 2. Are you getting the expected values at INOUT or OUT of your FC formal parameters? 3. I hope you have made use of local area within your FC avoiding the use of DB variables or M variables. Isn't it? If answer to above Q stands "Yes" then surely it is problem with your editor runtime values update. I hope that would help you to come out of the issue...... Best Regards,

Did u check the values of the addresses in the Variable table? This might work if u want to view the codes online.... Split the FC120 into apprx. 4 parts and write those in 4 different FCs and then call them consecutively. Vishal J. P.

rahul1234 Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Thanks for a quick response, Actually the values after n/w 6 was not right they were showing a fix values which I later figured it out means there is no final result in any of the n/w, the reason was it was not called in any of the OBs (please see the FC120.jpg) well here one more question arises my company is in full production since 2009 for almost 2 years how am I getting the values I saw the backup of last 2 years it was not called. Is this mean without calling the FB/FC/DB in any of OBs they can be processed? If “yes” then why it was not working? If “NO” then how it was working till last week? Can anyone explain me? It might be possible that some OBs other than OB1 was deleted in which FC120 was called. Or check the address of the values that was being read on the HMI/SCADA since 2009. Vishal J. P.

Hey Rahul Earlier ,Were you getting the values fixed or changing? If changing then Has anybody modified the program? Who else touch that program? There is no question the PLC will produce data itself, unless it has been programmed so.
