Hello, Well, for your case I suggest you can considerusing the OLM Gxx, type (glass). Please look at the manual in this link which i think will give you very good information. SIMATIC NET PROFIBUS Optical Link Module OLM / P11 V4.0 OLM / P12 V4.0 OLM / G11 V4.0 OLM / G12 V4.0 OLM / G12-EEC V4.0 OLM / G11-1300 V4.0 OLM / G12-1300 V4.0 Operation manual
There are two kinds of fiber optic cables. The Glass type and the plastic type. And they are further divided into multimode and single mode.Single mode fiber can send signals much further than multimode. For instance, a] multimode plastic type can supporttill around 80m, b] multimode glass type can support till around 400m, c] single mode glass type can support between 3 to 15km without repeaters. For your case of 300 to 1000m, the safest choice would be single mode glass type. As for the region you can look into these wedsite http://broadcastengineering.com/RF/bleden_brilliance_fiber_optic/index.html
For accessories, you can consider a patch box or patch panel for neat installation. Hope these help with regards, how come |

Hello Mohamed; Google can truly be a good friend sometimes, you will find manu such equipment from many providers: https://www.google.ca/#q=fiber+optic+repeater+single+mode I suggest you contact a network infrastructure provider near you; it will make your life easier to have local support for the selection and support of equipment that is adapted to the requirements of your project. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
