I want controll field current as follows: My motor have 2 speed : 800/1500 rpm , 220VDC, 60A. with filed current 2A to 5A / 220VDC I want control: Voltage up to 220vdc when the speed is 800rpm, current excitation is 5A As speed continues to increase the voltage is = 220vdc armature, current excitation is reduced When 1500RMP the speed of the armature voltage is 220VDC, the excitation down to 1A. I've tried installing several times but not achieve the required control. Hope you can help me!

thunder Posts: 38 Rating: (0)	I used mode: Field weakening control but I want when Voltage Armature max value.Now If speed continue increase then Field Current will be reduced. So to ensure Torque for motor.

Base rpm means armature 220VDC, 60A , field :5A / 220VDC -- 800 rpm Top rpm Means armature 220VDC, 60A , field :1 or 2A / 220VDC -- 1500 rpm you can achive the above top speed by field weakening control ,in that case you will go to in constant horsepower region ( torque will be not constant) You will get contstant torque upto 800 rpm base speed only.
