Final Conversion Steps Failed

Iwein Posts: 41 Rating: (0)	Last week, I've made a simple update at my project. I didn't do that much, but made a change in a test-envirronement with a screen I'd just created. When it worked I wanted to copy that screen into another project, but the problem is, that I cannot copy anything in my wincc project anymore. No copy of Tags, No copy of screens,... When I start the copy command, which is perfectly available, WinCC flexible just doesn't do anything. The only issue that I can see, is that when flexible starts, he gives this error: 08:21:43.89 Database Final conversion steps failed. Save has been disabled by WinCC flexible. I did a 'Delete temporary files' and 'compile', 'rebuild all', 'save and optimize' and even a 'save as with reorganization' (in Step7). none of this worked for the copy. If I copy from another project in my "project 2", it works fine. So it seems that I can't copy from my "project 1". I'm rebuilding all the screens in "project 2". I know already all the logic behind it, so... it will not be that big of a job. ;-) Thanks to all... Greetz Iwein

Start a service request at the technical support like mention in the error. They can repair the database. As I understand after deleting temporary files and recompiling error message is gone, so maybe it's not a database problem. If your project is integrated into Step-7 project you can do 'Save as...' and 'with reorganization' for whole Step-7 project. Se if this helps. Also going for support is not that bad idea in your case.
