I HAVE A EXISTING S5 PROGRAM WHICH HAS ABOUT 60 IPD-PID FC176 BLOCKS USED. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE DATABASE NUMBER GIVEN TO EACH CONTROLLER |

Hello I think you are referring to FB 176 ( Modular PID Controller ) and not FC 176. Here is the Link of theModular PID and Fuzzy Control Manual This Manual describes in Detail the Control structure of Modular PID control including FB 176. It also describes the DB Structures for all the DBs used in Modular PID. Hope this helps Cheers Navnag

Hi Navnag, Thanks for the reply. I want to know the DB used in FB176 in the offline program as the program shows only the DW and DD address.

Helloselva68in If you go through the manual ( Link in my previous post ) you will notice that the Controller data DB ( DB "INTER" is usually called explicitly using a "C DBxx " command wither in the calling OB or in the PB before the PID Block is called. In your case you need to trace back the call structure of your loops. Pl See Page-13 of manual for a typical calling structure ( Extract attached ). If you still need help, I suggest that you post your S5D file here for any further guidance, Hope this helps Cheers Navnag
