Dear all,

I have ktp700 basic dp hmi.Its image version is 15.01.00.00.

I use tia portal v15 and the firmware version for ktp700 in it is 15.00.00.

When I tried to download program it asked for fit downgrade and this failed.

Is there a way to add this image version to tia portal v15 or I must use tia portal v15best regards

Yes there is DVD with my hmi, but I don't know which files is the panel version and how to add this to my TIA portal software?

Hello.

First - Compile the project and make sure there is no compiling issues.

Second - Make sure the HMI is configured with the required baud rate and address.

Third - Try a download where you "fit" the application but do not "downgrade".

I am not sure where the image is on the DVD you speak of. But there should be a folder marked with something like "image". You can even search the word "KTP700". There is probably a facility to install all images on your local disk.

There is a chance that you already have the images on your local disk. Type the following into Windows File Explorer..

"%programfiles%\Siemens\Automation\Portal V15\Data\Hmi\Transfer\15.0\Images\KTP700"

Use the one marked for KTP700DP when you install the image from "Simatic Prosave".

An installation of WinCC V15.1 is needed. The good news is that V15.0 and V15.1 can both be installed. These also use the same license. The exception is WinCC Professional -- there can only be one installed WinCC Professional.

You can use the trial version as source of the software.
