HI guyz, i'm a fresher automation engineer, Now i'm currently working on Water treatment project. for my project flow rate is controlled by variable frequency drived pump. I would like to mention the io's for this operation. Flow meter 4-20mA -2 nos, VFD 4-20mA-2nos. Each pair is used before and after filtration Currently what i'm doing, Scale flow meter reading and gives the real out as the input for PID and Unscale the real out from PID to control VFD ( i don't know its Correct or not ) But requirement is to calculate Total net flow rate per day or per shift. Net flow rate = before filtration - after filtration suggest the best way to program. Any Blocks avail for calculating and retreive the net flow rate. Here i attach the flow control part of program only. Attachmentpractice.zip (525 Downloads) |

Hi, I suppouse that get values and subtraction is not the problem, and the main question is how to totalise (i.e. integrate) this values. If so, I suggest you take a look at this FAQ: http://support.automation.siemens.com/BR/view/en/42469594 |
