One more thing, you said your application doesn't use measuring probe. So how do you identify the home position? In my case I use a sensor and wire it to DI9.

•  Of course, there is a Home.Pos.sensor there. But its signal goes to related SImatic projects networks.
• And H.P. value (Real) is hard specified at network where it's called drive FB. You should have H.P. input there.
• drive output signal "In Position". When drive reached the given position, it sends the signal "i am in given position" It can be H.P. as well.

I think I don't understand the problem now. You said the signal in r2684.11 goes to 0 and after you passed the measuring input (DI 9) it goes to 1 again. This means your drive is homed or not? The actual position and setpoint position are reset already. So  please again for me...what is the problem about this behavior for you?

I forgot to mention that I used a compare function (compare actual position to 0 greater or not) in Step 7 to enable bit jog in control word (telegram 11). When object reached to sensor and it's signal (at DI9 of Driver S110) rose to 1, driver reset position to 0. When driver stopped, the position was a random negative number instead of 0. Then I had to move object to an absolute position which is the first point of the object (just like the diagram of Homing in Starter - see attachment).

My problem are:

1. Is there any way to automatically do the passive home instead the way I did?
2. Is there any way to automatically stop the jog command instead of comparing actual position to 0, like any bit in status word of telegram 11 that indicate that object had reached the home sensor?

This can be your stop condition for jogging and then you can start moving absolute to 0.

 The jogging in order to get home pos automatically. it looks cool!

I understand when you use jogging in emergenсy case to move axis after a fail, or for Homing operation to get desired physical position.

The axis should go to H.P. automatically in normal mode AUTO -> H.P. button.

I guess that it's industrial standart.

I see. What about reading Bit 11 from ZSW1 (PZD 1) in the PLC. This is parameter r2684.11 and indicates whether your drive is homed or not. This can be your stop condition for jogging and then you can start moving absolute to 0.

According to List manual, I didn't find r2684.11 in ZSW1 or 2. I use Basic Positioner (r0108.4 = 1).

Please help!

 It's not ZSW1 or 2. It should be Positionig status word (Pos_ZSW). You should look for that.
