FM 350-2 Hardware monitoring

Rudi1234 Posts: 12 Rating: (1)	Hi I have a FM 350-2 counter card in my project. Everything is connected as the manual explains, but the signal from the encoder is not coming through. Is it possible to monitor the incoming signal from the hardware config? In the counter software there is a 'commissioning' option. When I open that and set the mode to Run and Stop, should the LED indications come on? Everything stays blank in the commissiong window. Also, on the physical card, should the LEDs flash when there is an incoming signal? At the moment the connected channel's LEDs are all off. Your help would be much appreciated! Thank you!

Silent Bob Posts: 836 Rating: (100)	There are several manuals and FAQ concerning FM 350-2. Check them out at the Service and support page. Are you sure the Signal is comping to the module?

Look if you enabled the software gate. You can check it in the Counter DB. if this is enabled and you cant see any thing coming true you probarly turned on "Use hardware gate". this means that you need an discrete input on your card to be high so the signal will be detected.
