Hello I'm trying to replace FM352 cam module 352-1AH01-0AE0 to newer version 352-1AH02-0AE0. I did everything as this FAQ said: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/6ES73521AH010AE0/FAQ Parameters get copied in hardware conf. but the machine doesn't work. I have only upload, and i don't know if OEM will send me their program. When i tried to troubleshoot i noticed, that FM352 cam library blocks do not match anything that is in siemens manual. I'm posting their calls here: [code] CALL FC 0 ( IN0 := DB 1, IN1 := #TEMP36, IN2 := FALSE, IN3 := FALSE, OUT4 := #TEMP35); CALL FC 1 ( IN0 := DB 1, RET_VAL := #TEMP37, IO1 := M 49.7); CALL FC 22 ( IN0 := DB 1, RET_VAL := #TEMP32, OUT1 := #TEMP33, OUT2 := #TEMP34, IO3 := M 91.2); [/code] Also channel DB is different. I think i have to specify FM version in channel DB, but since i have only upload and DB structure is different i cant do that. I don't even know if those blocks will work with newer FM. Also my CPU is older version 315-2 DP v 1.1.0. Has anyone been in this situation? Or could you send me manual for those program blocks? Thanks |

I'll answer myself. I got german manual for those blocks from siemens tech support. Seems like "axis is syncked" bit stopped the machine. I think that operator had to do something with the machine after changing FM, i'll troubleshoot further. I'll post that manual here with block names for anyone who googles the problem in the future.
