FM 357-2 G code Generator

I'am Sami I am using an FM 357-2 like a big printer (a plotter) with 2 axis (servo drive+brushless) on x and y analog control mode I am truying to find a program, a kinda post processor or any software that generates directly a G code form dxf file, that could be copied and pasted in FM 357-2 edit tool to summerise i would like to have a software that translates DXF files into g code so i dont have to write a g code by my own every time... Any sugestions ?? Any help, advice, idea... would be welcome, i am just a student not a pro like you Help me learn and thx for reading my post Sami PS: ive sent a zip file of the kind of plots i want to draw Attachment test.zip (217 Downloads)

danny ye Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Your problem is how to convert dwg file to G code. It's easy to solve it. there are so many CAD software support translate DFX file to G code, example UG solidwork cartia etc. You can choice which one of them to convert G code. If your have any question, please do not hesitate contact me.

Sami Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	hi HH, thx for answering. i tried ace converter well its not so bad but is there more converters ??? now ial encountring more problems !! when you draw a dxf file for example a square you do this 2 --------------------- \| \| 1 \| \| 3 \| \| \| \| -------------------- 4 when the dxf file is saved, it saves exactly your actions, so when i generate a g code, the code generated redo the same action i made it draws side 1 then 2 then3 and 4 but what if i wanted to plot 4 then 3 then 1 then 2 ??? how can i modify the dxf file to memrise this order of actions ?? ( eg : modify the drawing orders of the forms) ??? Any sugestion ??? best regards, Sami

I'm not familiar with that FM357-2 and don't know if you can have many profiles downloaded so you can chose between them and re-order their executions. I guess you would get more results if you ask one of the experts in SINUMERIK CNC automation systems conference, he might know some tips and tricks. Best regards.
