The TH 300 catalog sheet (dated 2012) on the web does not list the most recent FM approval which was posted as recently as Jan 25, 2013. Check out the two FM I/S certs here: The actual, physical transmitter used will have to have been manufactured with the FM I/S option and have the appropriate agency approval mark on its tag, because that's what's needed. No mark, no approval. Pay to play, in hazardous areas, dude. Presumably a more recent catalog sheet has an options code for FM I/S. Suggestion - Don't use part numbers in the subject line. I almost didn't open your post, because you used a part number and I don't know part numbers and life's too short to wait for Siemens servers to serve up a junk post that I know nothing about. |
