Hello Pravin;

I have no idea what experience you have with profibus up to now, but Profibus-FMS has a special communication variablestructure that you must understand before you set out. Here is a link to the Simatic Net Profibus-FMS manual:

Pay special attention to chapter 3: Configuring Communication Variables

Protocols and mappings are setup in the relay using a software called Digsi4. You communicate with the relay through the front DB9 port, using a null-modem cable.

Information on the communication protocols for the Siprotec relays is usually found on http://siemens.siprotec.de/download_neu/html_dev/dev_1pdoku_m.htm
but there is only Profibus-DP mapping information, nothing forFMS.

that discusses protocols available on the Siprotec relays, you will find the statement: "PROFIBUS FMS is used with the SICAM energy automation system. No additional information about the protocol is needed."
Hopefully you have somepertinent information with the documentation of your relay, or in the Digsi4 manual..

One more detail:
There are 2 versions of the CP 443-5:
-CP 443-5 Extended, for Profibus-DP
-CP 443-5 Basic, for Profibus-FMS

Please make sure you have the correct module before you start your application:

This is why you will never find any information or GSD files for it, and this is why "no more information is needed" is the only information you have found. S7 and Siprotecwork together with Profibus DP. Mike J

It is not possible to use Profibus FMS with S7, only Sicam PAS or Sicam SAS, but Sicam SAS is an old product based on M7 and is not sold anymore. Have you already bought your Siprotec devices? You have to change their communication board to Profibus DP.
