Font problem with TP1200 Comfot

CorentinBoucheron Member Joined: 6/20/2019 Last visit: 12/11/2020 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have a problem on TP1200 Comfort : the font is bigger on the TP1200 but does show correctly in simulation in the laptop. I set up display size in windows at 100% and DPI at 96 pixels and I use Calibri font . I use windows 7 Pro in virtual machine and have TIA Portal WinCC version - 15.0.0.4 (Upd4) Do you know how to fix this problem ? Attachment Screenshot&Picture.zip (103 Downloads)

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 4/17/2025 Posts: 15311 Rating: (1893)	Hello I Think this is the DPI Settings but you have to use a Software Recompile all after you have changed the DPI Settings. The whole HMI Project Rutime Files have to be created new that the Change of the DPI takes an effect. And also you have to know that a comfort Panel cannot use bold Fonts, use only regular fonts. bye Murof

What do you mean: Murof The whole HMI Project Rutime Files have to be created new that the Change of the DPI takes an effect. You are talking about the IM folder files that need to be deleted before compiling?

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 4/17/2025 Posts: 15311 Rating: (1893)	Hello no a recompile all should work you do not need to delete the IM folder in this case (rightclick on the Device Comile->Software(rebuild all) after you have set your windows DPI Settings to 100% (96 DPI) If this is not the reason then check if you use Bold Fonts. This type of fonts are not supported in the Comfort Panels. And if you load such a Font setting to the Panel the Panel will take an default font. Bye Murof

In fact, I also had a problem with the font itself, for some reason it began to display incorrectly in all applications. It seems to me that I said it from an unreliable source and that's why it all happened. I decided to try looking again and here https://upfonts.com/ink-free-font/ I found the font I needed and it worked just fine and no more problems appeared. I would be interested to know from what sources you take the fonts and how long you are looking for the right one.
