[schnippschnapp] @huggy_d1 As for the expected size, basically, smaller. The previous version of this specific block was written in FBD and had some terrible programming. That was about 2,4 KB. The reason for choosing SCL is a preference. I come from a Java/C# background and am therefore more accustomed to commenting lines of code, using IF statements etc. I prefer the abstraction and flexibility that these "higher" languages offer. As for "watching" in SCL code, a table with variables is created next to each line of code, showing the variables used on that line, with their current values and, if it's a conditional statement, the RLO.
