for one FB I must make an IDB(instance data block), the IDB must contain the same inputs of FB and initial values of them?

Based on your reply , I tried a small program.

FB1 is called thrice in OB1 using 3 different inputs and outputs in each of the three networks.

When I simulate it, I get correct results for each of the 3 cases on the simulator (including the live readings from the 3 instance DBs showing changes in the status of timers and outputs) ......... but when I go online in FB1 ,I get the network active (highlighted) only when I use one of the 3 inputs.

Meaning , the network in FB1 doesn't get activated / highlighted for the other 2 inputs ...... although I get the functionality right on the simulator and instance DBs when checked live / online.

Hope you got my point.

Dear

The reason for your problem is that the FB1 is being scanned regularly for all the instances. So You won't be able to watch the Status of any of the Networks in the FB while the CPU is in the Run Mode.

For getting the Staus of a particular Set ( Motor/Valve for which the FB is used) you need to call its Instance DB in that DB.

Open FB1, Then Under Menu Bar

Debug -> Operation , Make it to Test Mode

Again Debug -> Call Environment , provide the instance DB to be viewed.
