I need to ask another thing. In my application the motor moves a non-linear kinematism and the strain sensor is apply in the load side. Is a problem if I close force loop with the strain sensor signal like feedback?i mean between motor and strain sensor signal there is a non linear kinematism. I see that the force loop gives like output the speed reference. Can I close the force loop with sensor signal or the force loop generates a wrong speed reference signal because there is a non linear kinematism?

Hi, I have a problem with the force control.

In my application I do not have the force sensor (but I have a strain sensor connected with a TM31), and the current value of force is calculated with the software.

I imposed the current force value with this variabile:

AXIS.forceActualValueSettings.value := CalculatedForceFeedback;

In a manual I found this:

In V4.0 or higher, a calculated value from the user program can also be specified as the actual sensor value via the cyclically effective forceActualValueSetting.value system variable. This requires the setting additionalSensorType= SET_ACTUAL_VALUE. I would like to know if is there a problem if I do not have the force sensor to add in axis page?

If so, which is the solution to activate the force control loop without the force sensor?
