Formula for calculation of breaking chopper and breaking ressistance

simaticmanager Posts: 150 Rating: (5)	Hi, Dear all, I want to know how to calculate the chopper and breaking ressistance ratings for a drive if the running load is given, Is there any thumrule or basic formula to calculate, I can have the values from catalog but want to know how they comes. Pls Help Simatic manager
