FREQUENT FAULT(F01910) IN SINAMICS G120

Dear experts,

Iam facing a problem in sinamics G120, i have configured two G120 drive with S71500 cpu through profibus DP (G120 CU240E-2DP and S7-1516-3PN/DP) . I configured drive through profibus GSD with free telegram and communication also established without any error . I configured some word in TRANSMIT direction (status word) because i need only feedbacks from drive and i didnt configure any word in RECEIVE direction (through DP iam not giving any commands or setpoint) screenshot attached for reference

Drive is running fine,but all of sudden drive goes to fault with fault codeF01910 FIELDBUS INTERFACE SETPOINT TIMEOUTwhen i check the drive while fault i didnt find any BUS fault indication only READY led is blinking in red, and I also checked in hardware configuration (PLC side ) while fault i didt find any communication loss in drive , its shows healthy. i dono why this fault is coming

when i remove profibus cable from drive it shows same fault but this time with BUS fault indication on both drive and PLC side so i hope cable is fine because iam getting feedbacks.

Problem is i cant figure out whether it is a profibus fault or some other because iam not getting bus fault while F01910 

Please guide me to resolve this issue, i have changed some time parameters like P2044 and P2047 but still this fault is coming

1. Check the wiring (interrupts of the cable)
2. Check the shielding and make a good potential equalization between the DP slave and DP master.
3. Ensure, that bit 10 in the control word 1 is always high (04xy hex).

Make a trace of the r 2050.0 and r2050.1 triggered onto fault.
Take the shortest cycle and make the half of the time as pre trigger.
Hence in case of fault, you'll see what happens in the received data

Contact the customer support by opening a support request.

As an aside and certainly not a solution......

Why are people still using Profibus when simple, much more reliable Profinet is available for the same cost?

I used Profibus in the 1990's because it was the best available at the time.  Surely things have progressed since then.

in the first word, sent by the PLC the bit 10 has to have "H" level, otherwise the drive doesn't accept the sent values as valid.

Check r2043 Bit 0 it is the origin of the F1910 after the monitoring time in p2047 is exceeded.

p2047 is a bypass for a short time interrupt.
