Looking for some confirmation.

I'd like tr transfer a datalog xxx.csv file to a FTP server using the 1212C FW4.1.3.  the FTP info refers to the PLC creating xxx.dat files with the user data whilst another post mentioned you can transfer the xxx.csv to the FTP, but I cannot find any example or info about this?

is this possible?

So it looks you cannot send the CSV file directly with the FTP command...

I have found a couple of VBscript files that I have edited to suit my needs for now, albeit not how I intended the system to function. 

One thought, can the SCL language access the Datalog file?  Perhaps a SCL function could save the day here?

This is not possible!

You need to DOWNLOAD the csv-file with a script, started on the pc.

Just use the mentioned example.
Fill the SendString with your values and use the following values for the .csv format:

New Column: ;

New Row: Return  (-> in Strings "$R")

Example String:

"Value1;5;Quality;Good$RValue2;3;Quality;Bad"

Note:
Follow the example, change the example file to "File.csv" and fill the string like described
