Hello Rayrie; A similar question received a reply a few years ago, I refer you to the link: https://support.industry.siemens.com/tf//ww/en/posts/s7-300/200359/?page=0&pageSize=10 If you follow the logic from the references discussion, your module part number would be analysed as: 6ES7321-1BH50-0AA0: - 6ES7: a Siemens s7 PLC descriptor - 3: a S7-300 PLC module - 2: a digital module (input or output) - 1: an input module - 1BH50: internal to Siemens, refers to hardware and firmware versions - 0AA0: internal to Siemens, refers to production details and type of marketing blocks Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
