FW compatibility of motor modules and CU's v2.x - v4.x

zako_ Gold Member Joined: 5/22/2012 Last visit: 3/24/2022 Posts: 895 Rating: (65)	... the booksize motormodules needs the ending "3" or higher, if you want to use them with 4.3 or higher. But you can use them with V2.x.

Can an old CU(FW2.6.1) handle a newer type of SMC(e.g SMC20/30 with FW 4.x)?
